Whether you’re looking to surprise your favorite jet-setter or treat yourself on your next adventure, I’ve gathered all of my favorite products from across the web to make your holiday shopping a little easier.
1. Scratch-off map
The most decorative way to keep track of your travels! I keep this up at the office and it’s always a conversation starter.
2. Charging phone case
Keep your phone charged (and stylish!) on the go. The Casely Power cases are my favorite alternative to portable chargers because it’s one less thing to lug around. You can read more about why I love these cases here.
DEAL ALERT: The Power collection cases originally sell for $55, but you can get 30% off your entire purchase when you use code “HOMME” at check out!
3. Mini backpack
The Fjallraven Kanken Mini Backpack is one of those “splurge” items that I now don’t know how I lived without. It’s just the right size for everything from short hikes to a full day of wandering a new city.
4. Packable puffer jacket
Traveling light during the colder months is tough due to heavier clothing. Luckily, this Madewell Travel Buddy Packable Puffer jacket doubles as your jacket AND a neck pillow (so you can leave your bulky neck pillow at home). Although this is one of the more expensive items on the list, it’s totally worth the amount of use you’ll get out of it.
5. Collapsible water bottle
This super sleek Que bottle collapses to take up less space in your bag when you’re not using it. It’s a win-win!
6. Carry-on backpack
I was recently introduced to the eBags Junior Weekender as I attempted to cram 9 days worth of clothing into my backpack for my last trip. If you’re trying to travel light to avoid bag fees when flying, this will fit right under the seat in front of you. It also unzips just like a regular suitcase to keep you organized. Needless to say, I’m obsessed and not sure how this isn’t more well-known.
7. Compact camera tripod
I’ve been using this tripod to take pictures when I’m traveling solo. The flexible legs make it able to to stand up on uneven surfaces and also be attached to things like fence posts, branches, you name it. These tripods only come equipped to mount cameras, but you can buy an additional attachment to mount your phone for pictures.
8. Packable hat
Hats come in handy when traveling to sunny destinations (or for bad hair days). They’re usually hard to travel with because you don’t want to crush them in your bag, but luckily this hat is made to be crushed and shoved in your bag and won’t lose its shape.
9. Hanging toiletry organizer
A cute and easy way to keep things organized while on the go. Being able to hang this bag for easy access to your toiletries instead of throwing everything across a hotel bathroom sink helps make sure you’re not going to leave anything behind.
10. Quick-dry towel
These quick-drying microfiber towels from Dock & Bay are perfect for your favorite beach lover. Not only are they compact to fit in your bag, but they’re also great to use as a blanket on a cold flight.
11. Travel skincare kit
Gift a jet-setting skincare fanatic the cutest travel kit. Their skin will thank you.
12. Compact jewelry organizer
Before I had this jewelry box, I’d pull everything out of my bag a big tangled mess (sometimes to the point of no return). This has been especially helpful for storing jewelry as I’ve traveled to weddings over the past year.
